Norsul’s journey in the program reflects steady progress. The company earned the Bronze Seal in 2022, advanced to the Silver Seal in 2023, and reached the Gold Seal in 2024, which corresponds to emissions reported and published for the 2023 cycle.
Rafael Mendes, Manager of QSMS and Sustainability, emphasized the significance of this certification: “This achievement confirms Norsul’s commitment to sustainable transportation. In 2023, in addition to reporting Scope 1 and 2 emissions, the company conducted an external audit to ensure the accuracy of its GHG inventory and strengthen energy efficiency measures, reducing emissions.”
