In November, the 36th edition of the Biggest in Transportation & Best in Transportation Awards highlighted Norsul as the Best Transport Operator in the Maritime and River category. Sponsored by Transporte Moderno and Technibus magazines, published by OTM Editora, the event also celebrated the magazine’s 60th anniversary, honoring personalities and entities that have marked the history of Brazilian transportation in recent decades.
“Norsul is a company recognized in the market for its solidity, and this moment of celebrating 60 years is very inspiring. We are very grateful for the award, which reinforces everyone’s dedication in this successful journey of the company, directly contributing to the country’s development and the strengthening of the maritime sector. We have always taken an active stance towards business challenges, adapting and reinventing ourselves whenever necessary to deliver valuable solutions and commitments to our customers,” highlighted Fabiano Lorenzi, commercial director, on the occasion.

Norsul received the silver seal in the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, a qualification that brings together standards, guidelines, and tools for managing greenhouse gas emissions. This recognition reinforces our continuous commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The silver seal consists of a complete inventory including sources of scopes 1 (emissions released into the atmosphere directly from the company’s production process), 2 (emissions associated with the electricity generation the company consumes), and optional scope 3, which dictates indirect emissions from sources over which the company has no direct control.
For the second consecutive year, we received the silver medal in Sustainability from EcoVadis! The methodology evaluates the quality of a company’s social responsibility management system. Among the evaluated criteria are environmental, ethical, labor practices and human rights, as well as sustainable procurement. Policies, implementation measures, and presented results are considered in the ranking.
The award aims to highlight companies with the best practices and, therefore, with recognized excellence in the main themes involving responsible business activities. Among the evaluated criteria, the management of integrity risk, the existence and dissemination of the Code of Ethics, compliance policies and procedures, among others, stood out.
